Cover Book.

Does as it says, it's a simple A4 net, that's been folded and stuck onto a simple half fold (the brown paper) which creates a solid front and back cover. Making the cover a different colour to the pages shows it more effectively. Easy to make and looks professional.

Spaceship.

This is the space ship, as you can see in the first picture, or it can be called the landscape elastic concertina. It's 2 basic concertina folds that when put together as you can see by the green bands, becomes a book! It gives a good amount of pages, with little effort. One of my favourites.

Basic book.

It's in the title, this is as basic as it gets, a simple A4 sheet of paper folded in half and half again. As easy as it was it only leaves you with a cover, 2 inset pages and a back cover.

Middle bound.

This is the middle bound book that can be bound with staples, sewing or in my case elastic. Not very snazzy looking but does the job and is easy to make as they are separate pages held together.

Double folded concertina.

This one I call the double fold concertina because as you can see by the net it is a concertina layout just double over, which when folded together makes a book with a triangle join in the middle. Easy to make and effective.

This book has small slips so you can take out the pages and arrange them as you see fit, although its a beautiful idea that my colleague Fran told me about, it was difficult and very time consuming.

Books a million!!

Since my final FMP piece is going to be displayed in a booklet, I thought I'd experiment with a few book layouts. Which could also coincidently be used for my research project :) so here are some that I've done..
